I can't believe I couldn't find you. You'd think that 4 sexy ninja turtles (turtlettes?) would stand out even among that crowd, but I never saw any of you. Plus E and I were so tired we left earlier than expected (before it got dark, actually). It's kinda sad because I lost this golden opportunity, but such is life :/
Yeah, it sucks we didn't get to meet up! :/ However that convention was HUGE! It was hard to find ANYONE, even if you WERE looking for them! Also, we weren't there for very long in our costumes :p
Oh well. Next time we'll have to exchange cell #s before con or something! (and I'll have to not FORGET my cell phone! :p )
Aw, thanks for all the kind words! I didn't realise you'd wanted to stay and had just wanted to go back for your phone! I wish you could have spent more time in your Mikey costume too. Those boots were killer though.
I'll remind Claire about putting that recipe online.
Honestly I totally forgot about running across the street and you lecturing me so it obviously wasn't a big deal to me. You were concerned. I understood. It's just that I've been to cities before and I knew that, when it came to crossing to one side of the street to the other, you have to take any chance you can get.
Did you HAVE to being up the stupidy of getting in a taxi that wasn't marked again? I was freaking out so bad...should have switched shoes with Jem, but felt guilty about making others wear the heels my dumb self put on. But now all our LJ friends will know I'm an idiot! (...what do you mean they already knew? O.o )
Obviously, my Raph half fails when someone is willing to be leader and seems to know what they are doing, hence my fun jaywalking and reason for getting into the taxi. I hate being such a follower sometimes!
(PS, signed up for the Paperbackswap thing, did you get the credit?)
You weren't the idiot. I was. :P Both Jenn AND you were prolly correct to freak out about it. One of these days my mikey-isms are going to get me killed, I swear (But at least I'll have fun doing it! ;)
You *SAY* you are a Raphtype, but I totally dont see it ;)
((I got you on my PBS list! You know you only have to post 5 more books to get a free book credit to use?))
Awesome write-up. I have yet to start the rest of mine! I think I posted one or two day's worth and then just stopped. Maybe I will get it done this weekend ... if we're not insanely busy with family stuff.
Yeah, I'm glad Robina was there to hold my hand in the back seat of that unmarked cab. We were both scared for our lives.

Yeah, I know that you didn't realize that. Communication was not my strong point that day ;P
Yeah, those boots WERE killer! (Both in the sense that they rocked major socks, and that they KILLED my feets!)
