First the bad news. Contrary to what the CCI guide and website says, Peter Laird will NOT be at comic con international 2009. He says so here (scroll down to PL's fourth comment if the link takes you to the top of the page)
Sadness.

But to cheer you all up, here is an awesome TMNT pic I found:

That's exactly how I meant!! XD Haha!

Right! Is there any way I can help you? I'm afraid I don't have the icons on separate photoshop files, but I've got a big .psd with all of the frames. Let me know if you want it, but maybe you know of a better way.

I was looking at the picture and its pretty, and all of a sudden I got dizzy. haha

I need to get to a con someday. They always sound like so much fun, but I never seem to be in the right place at the right time. Someday... :)

but it's so pretty shiney and .... umm .... *is distracted by watching it again*

Cons are dah bomb. :D Anime ones are a bit more hyper-fun than comic ones, but CCI is just like a GIANT super-con that has EVERYTHING. ;)

A bookplate is usually a label pasted into the front of the book-- sometimes it says "this book is the property of: " and then you write your name on it.

"tipped in"-- no idea.

oooohhh!! Tankies for telling me, Teachy!... hmmm... ooohh! I found out what "tipped in" is!

Tipped In: A separately printed illustration, etc., cut to the size of the leaf of a book and pasted along the inner margin of the appropriate text page prior to gathering. Such an illustration is said to be a "paste in." Tipping is a time-consuming, and therefore costly, aspect of book production. (Source)
