Anyone have a pumpkin bread recipe they'd like to share with me? Or any other Autumn apropriate recipes? Pretty please?

Also, what kinds of vegetables would you put into a chicken soup?

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

INGREDIENTS
3 cups white sugar
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 1 pound size coffee cans, or three 9x5 inch loaf pans.

2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin, oil, water, and eggs. Beat until smooth. Blend in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Fill cans 1/2 to 3/4 full.

3. Bake for 1 hour, or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool on wire racks before removing from cans or pans.

I haven't, but I've had chocolate & zuchini and that worked amazingly well. My taste imagination tells me that chocopumpkin is worth a shot. :)

Worth a shot, yeah. I'm still skepticle, though, so I'll mix it up without the chocolate chips, bake half the batter and add chips to the rest. Choco-pumpkin? Don't say that too loudly or Steak 'n' Shake will hear you and steal the idea.

Zuchini and chocolate?!?!?! What the hell ever posessed someone to concote THAT?!?!?!?!

Oh, and basic chicken soup veggies are carrots, celery, garlic and onion.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm looking for something slightly more interesting to add to that. Right now I'm leaning towards Kale and navy beans. Sounds wierd, but I think I might be able to turn it into something.

*nod* I usually use zuchinni (when I can get my hands on it for a decent price) in just about every soup I make and yellow squash goes really well with zuchinni. I like tomato but I've been making lots of things with tomato latley and my mom has acid reflux and sometimes tomatos irritate that.

What do you think of
Zuchinni
(possibly yellow squash)
(possibly tomatos)
Carrots
Onions
Garlic & other seasonings (I've been using lots of marjoram in things lately)
(I'm thinking no on the celery, cause I don't like it)
Corn
Kale
Spinach
Navy Beans
Chicken

I think that list is still missing something, but what?
