Poor Ziva, this isn't going to be easy...*am worried* (I'm also worried about Sheppard meeting Gibbs and Gibbs' brain exploding from utter confusion).

Great chapter. Ziva certainly has gone native--this is just another mission to an alien planet for her now (except for the team, of course). Explaining things without *that* group of very sharp people figuring everything out will be difficult.

First up, congratulations on the new job :).

I think it's fair to say I have no idea what's going on with the mysterious deaths, which is neat. I was thinking plain ole chestbursters (which, ew, but if Stargate has taught us anything, it's that the universe is full of parasites just waiting for a nice human to munch/possess), but there's clearly more going on. Looking forward to their investigation!

"He has been deployed for over four years," Ziva answers. "His mother was to be married and he wished to stand up for her at the ceremony." Little details are coming back to Ziva now, of conversations in the mess hall, Weisz teasing Wayne about having to wear a 'monkey suit' and Bianco demanding details on the religious aspects of the Protestant ceremony. Just a random conversation between men who are all now dead.
Ai ya :(. I love the little details of Weisz and all.
