Sorry this is so late, I started my new job today and I'm still spinning in circles. Enjoy! I'll be responding to comments in the last section tomorrow.

I think it's fair to say I have no idea what's going on with the mysterious deaths, which is neat. I was thinking plain ole chestbursters (which, ew, but if Stargate has taught us anything, it's that the universe is full of parasites just waiting for a nice human to munch/possess), but there's clearly more going on. Looking forward to their investigation!
"He has been deployed for over four years," Ziva answers. "His mother was to be married and he wished to stand up for her at the ceremony." Little details are coming back to Ziva now, of conversations in the mess hall, Weisz teasing Wayne about having to wear a 'monkey suit' and Bianco demanding details on the religious aspects of the Protestant ceremony. Just a random conversation between men who are all now dead.
Ai ya :(. I love the little details of Weisz and all.
"Dinners at the White House, SecNav on speed dial," Tony says with an insincere smile. "You're certainly moving in high circles."
Aaand Tony puts his foot in it again. Way to make it all seem *dirty* somehow, DiNozzo.
I guess being privy to only half a comms conversation is quick way to annoy Gibbs ;). The interactions between Ziva and the rest of the NCIS crew were great too - awkward and not entirely sure if they should be playing ball with Ziva now she's not technically them.
In conclusion: yay chapter! And there's still three more to go!
