And the fun thing is that it came to me in a blinding flash, one of those things. When I was trying to figure out how to bring John back, I was all, "maybe I can have his spirit go into another character who had just died." Then Peter occurred to me and I squeed out loud. Such potential :D

Oh no! That is not a good start. John possessing Peter, when Edward figures out I see all sorts of bad things.

As the writer, squee as well. And yes, all kinds of bad things. For both John and Edward... and hopefully John can survive having Donna as his mother (poor Donna. people around her getting hurt all the time)

And, dude. John. In a teenage hormonal body with control issues and a badass parent figure in Edward. And Anita, at somepoint. And other bodygaurd/hunters type people. And some cryptic note from Missouri, or something, just at the wrong moment. Wow. You've broken me again. I love that you make me excited about the ABVH characters again when I'm so blah about them in LKH's canon.

SRSLY, I mean, fanfic is supposed to invigorate the fandom, bring us all back to the joy of the characters. Especially Edward, who I miss like no tomorrow. He's so interesting. In that "I'm a sociopath -- ask me how and die!" sort of way.
