*g* Glad you liked! I think this one has the potential to be an awesome story. Plus Edward, which makes everything better. (Mostly, I wanted to write an Anita Blake story without Anita in it for a change.

I was drinking when I read that last line, and needless to say, my nose hurts now! Very good insight into John's head.

And, btw
This weekend, pick out three of your favorite writers, those you’ve been reading regularly --- probably for *years* ---and send them a private note telling them you’re out there. Just that. Even if you’ve never, ever done it before. Even if you write yourself. Any fandom, all your fandoms, etc.

Hi. I had a small idea, not really a lightbulb, more like a candle. I just got done watching 1x02 "Wendigo", and I thought that Haley (the girl whose brother was missing) wouldn't be that surprised if she got Called...

Anyway, I hope work doesn't kill you. :)

Getting into John's head is always hard, as most of our view of him is through the boys. But at the end, John's a good man who loved his sons.

Sorry about your nose.

That idea sounds interesting. Yeah, at this point, Haley wouldn't be much surprised at all :)

Well, John was either 50 or 60 when he died. Edward's just a young sprite at 30ish. I can see there being a certain... reluctance, on John's part, to let Edward be a mentor.

But yeah, when it comes to evil, those two are of a similar mind (i.e. kill the bastards dead). They both enjoy the hunt, are both unnervingly good at killing things, and they love guns.

I just had a scary thought, and I want to assure everyone that in no way will this story be John/Edward. *Goes off to bleach brain*

I lurve Edward. I also lurve Peter. This lurve spills over onto John Winchester by default.
...
But... ::big watery ainme eyes:: Does that mean the actual Peter is gone?

Yes, sadly, Peter has passed on. That's how the Reaper knew how to find Peter... Another of her kind had taken Peter onto the next step. But we'll get to that in upcoming chapters.
