Yes - Cornell, probably exotics, unless they do have a specialized department for herps. My birds and rodents were classified "exotics." It's important to have a specialized vet for snakes, birds, etc.

When I raised herps, Briar Patch was ok on tortoises at least. Never really had snakes. At Cornell they are very good but may run you a little more $.

Sunpony knows a vet that might do snakes.

Cornell's exotics service certainly does see snakes; a 15 foot Burmese python (length is approximate, though definitely < 20 feet, but we had five or six people holding on to it) came in with pneumonia while I was on that rotation. I know one of the Briar Patch associates and may see her at lunchtime, so I can ask; I suspect the vet school will be your best bet, though. If nothing else, they've got the facilities to do herp labs in-house, so they should get any bloodwork and culture results significantly faster.

Cornell does indeed have an exotics vet; if you do end up seeing Dr. Morrisey, tell him "Mr. Crankypants" the cockatiel says hi :)
