In her post today, spikesgirl58 asked whether the writers among us post chapters of long works as they finish them or whether they wait until they have completed the entire work to post it all. Can you remember the first piece of fanfic you ever read?

How about the genre instead? For me, it was Star Trek. There was a book called The New Voyages which were a half dozen fanfics that had been published. I was hooked after that. :DD
