Okay, I really really wanted to gyive you a meaningful review here, but seriously? I'm speechless. I have to mention something though: whenever I'm reading a well written story, I can clearly hear the voices in my mind (or maybe I'm jsut plain crazy?) and Sam and Mary voices sounded clear to me, but the most amazing thing was that I could hear Drew's voice as well, not as in Dean's voice, but in another completely different voice that fitted the character, imho. I don't remember if I asked you this before, but did you have a face for Drew? Great work, sweets!
Oh! *blushes madly* You are so kind! And what an amazing thing to hear as a writer. I am glad you can hear Drew. I really like Drew as a character, still Dean, but seperate. We'll see more Drew come later parts, which I must say I'm excited for.
A face drawn? LOL No. Simply because if I tried to draw it...he'd come out looking like cookie monster. I have a clear image in my head, but there isn't even an actor I could point out cause I created him all myself (unlike Josh who I see as a younger Nick Lea).
Oh, you are too kind! I am glad that it is working for you and that you continue to enjoy it.
Ah, yes, the drinking age. See, this takes place in the future and in my mind, the legal age changed. But my beta said no, too complex. She then suggested fake ids and I was like, ok, but didn't want to talk about them because I thought it would throw off the flow. So we settled on assuming most people would guess they had fake ids.
I am glad though it didn't throw you off (sometimes, one can't win for losing, lol), that's the most important thing.
There were three small crosses in the backyard and on that day, Sam always grew impatient for his own little mark to lie beside the rest of his family, impatient to be forgotten by all. But the rest of the world didn't matter as long as he got back to his family. He felt guilty for still being alive.
That right there hun? That broke me. *runs off to read more*
