More Stonhenge Apocalypse Rambling

What I truly can't decide is whether I want to read the Jacob and Mulder as BFFs fic first, the Jacob/Castiel/some mixture of the characters SPN fic first, or the Jacob and Rodney McKay as frenemies-who-were-both-geniuses-and-Rodney's-still-a-little-miffed-Jacob-got-that-honor-first and somehow, years later, Jacob also ends up in Atlantis and Jacob ( Read more... )

I watched it twice, but I am easily entertained. Misha was pretty, I love his voice, and I knew it would be bad. I was really sad that his acting was so flat, though. He's just not a flat person so it was disappointing.

And God, yes, her accent. It made me LOL.

In the first showdown scene with Joseph in the museum he was all Castiel-like, and I was all, I approve! In the opening scenes he was kinda Future!Cas. I think he carried a lot of the crappy dialogue, but I don't think he bothered to give Jacob any real character. He probably took this job to pay for all the souvenirs he buys during his worldwide con trips.

Yeah, like I said above, he just seemed this mishmash of SPN characters and himself. Gotta pay the bills, yes, but still. I AM DISAPPOINT. (I really need to find that Locke gif that says that again.)

Misha took a vacation from acting to do this movie.

Where's this fic you speak of? :D

LOL, indeed he did. I hope it was restful for him.

I hope someone writes it! Jacob can fit neatly into so many fandoms...with much better plots!

Mulder and Jacob fic! It needs to happen. Like now.

It's funny- it's not like I was expecting Misha to be great in this. Because I wasn't. But there were parts that were just so phoned in it made me sad. Embrace the camp, Mish Mish. It's like the film equivalent of working at McDonald's over the summer- everyone knows you don't want to be there and no one will blame you if you don't put your soul into it. Heh.

But whatever. It was worth it for the closeups, if not for the LULZ.

Well, Misha's a good actor. So is Torri, and so is Hill Harper. NO ONE was any good in this movie.

(after watching Karla I thought I could never look at Misha the same again. it was one fucking creepy movie, the guy has some damn fine acting skills)

I thought this movie was bad on so many levels, but was still fun to watch for the lolz. :)
