So, I was just looking through some photos and I started thinking about how people have changed. Realizing this will be screened, how are you at all qualified as a graphic designer OR website designer? What computer science classes have you taken? What certifications do you have? What sites have you previously designed? Do you even have examples of your work as a graphic designer, something people spend 4 years in school specifically for? Don't insult the computer science community by adding your unqualified name to the mix.

Actually, I have taken and finished many courses and have gotten many certificates which qualifies me. yes, I did not go to school for 4 years for this specifically, but it's not like I haven't studied it and studied it in depth. I also have designed several sites at this point as well as do it as part of my daily job. I have recently won a graphic design competition for a local company, so someone else think I am at least semi-qualified. So, until you know specifically what I've done in the last few years, please don't presume to know ( ... )

actually... from a person who has made his life in computer programming/visual arts/website design for the past 6 or so years, more than half of the people i work with in the industry started out without any qualifications at all. The Manager of IT in my department started out in math, and then went on to circuit board engineering. The primary admin/system architect/programmer has no formal training at all aside from experience, and the secondary admin of websites and design studied english for 7 years before this job. I find this is true throughout the industry, so whoever is thinking that you need to make a lifelong pursuit to be a website designer needs to open their eyes ( ... )
