People who take gleeful delight in the troubles of others, even undeserved, have defects in their character - like those who find happiness when others fail or experience tragedy.
Simply observing and documenting how the plots and schemes of tyrants, troublemakers, enablers and masterminds blow up in their faces (as well as ours) is simply what I would call noting people getting their "just deserts".
