WHAT DOES ONE DO WHEN YOU'RE A RICH LIBERAL OBAMA SUPPORTER WHOSE INSURANCE GETS CANCELLED & THE REPLACEMENT/EXCHANGE OFFERS YOU LESS COVERAGE WITH HIGHER DEDUCTIBLES FOR MORE MONEY?
1. You make too much money to get a subsidy.
2. Even though you "support" Obamacare and are an Obama sycophant YOU don't want to have to pay for it out of your own pocket.
3. You can't just get a "waiver" since you don't belong to a union or special interest group - plus there are hundreds of thousands of people in your state with the same problems.
What do you do?
Well ... if you're like San Francisco arhitect Lee Hammack and his wife JoEllen Brothers you appeal to your local politicians for "help" and consider "reducing your income" so you can get a subsidy and have your neighbors foot the bill.
That old "crap" plan they had with Kaiser carried a $4,000 deductible per person, $40 co-pay for doctor visits, $150 emergency room vfee and 30 percent coinsurance for hospital stays after the deductible. The out-of-pocket maximum was $5,600.
It cost the couple $550 a month.
The "improved" ObamaCare plan cost $1,300 a month for the two of them.
It has a higher deductible ($4,500), a higher out-of-pocket maximum ($6,350), higher hospital costs (40 percent of the cost) and possibly higher costs for doctor visits and drugs.
They've been "shopping around" as Obama suggested with not much better being offered.
And so they're looking for "help". They make too much money to get a break but don't think they should be required to pay for the policies they supported.

Oh, they might consider getting a divorce too. I think married people pay through the nose. Kind of diabolical, don't you think? Govertnment destroying healthcare, the private sector and the institution of marriage and the family through the vote of one Congress?
