Let them strike. Hell, close the schools for the rest of the year and use the savings in the cost of operating them to lower property taxes. There is nothing in the Federal Constitution that mandates a "public Education". Or, at least cut teacher salaries by at least 40% (they get off w/pay June/July/August every year) and ban public sector unions and ban the right to strike by anyone whose pay is funded by tax dollars.
