Outstanding!

Wow, you really have a knack for imagery and metaphor.

...the black spill of silken hair dripping across his sheets; his fingers twitched with the urge, the need, to comb through it and see if the dark color- as pure and rich as it was- would stain his calloused skin,...

Beautiful.

Ahhh, thank you! ♥

Sometimes I think I take my metaphor-play too far, but I do like to do things in excess in general, so I guess it's a personality failing. ^___^ As long as it works (most of the time), it's all good.

Thank you, this was particularly beautifully written. I was complaining to a friend of mine that there wasn't enough JiraxOroxJira out there and this piece appears which delighted me.

I loved how you approached and built their relationship. It wasn't immediate and fulminating, it was that pull they knew was there, strong men want to be acknowledged by each other despite Orochimaru's delicate appearance, he was powerful and deadly, not in the way Jiraiy was or is. I loved the "first time" because it didn't become a romance cliche, it was dark and it was love/hate and I thought that was quite fitting.

Awesome piece. I am glad Mai gave you the prompt and you responded.

This pairing's a particular favorite of mine and yes, I have to agree with you that there's not enough of it out there. I try to fill the deficit a little, bit by bit. ^__^

I have a fetish for obsession with excessive fondness for Orochimaru and his mix of cold-blooded bastardness and subtle, underhanded humanity, the strengths he won't acknowledge and his sheer ruthlessness...though I admit that while I adore writing him, he's difficult, too. I'm always glad to at least hit somewhere on the target even if I can't get the bull's eye.

Thank you muchly! I'm glad she prompted me, too!

This is wonderful. Beautifully written, profoundly in-character, and affecting.

This pairing is so underwritten. I noticed the parallels with Naruto and Sasuke's relationship peeking out, too. <3

Oh, I absolutely love this. My favorite pairing in the fandom by far for the mindfuckery, and you write it so damn well. It's really beautiful! You make me feel inadequate about what I write! But I love you for it.

So awesome. Thank you for another wonderful fic.<3

Awww, thank you!
There are a ton and a half of people who make me feel inadequate, too; it happens to all of us-- it always seems like everyone else is better. XP

Thank you for your appreciation!

Aww, no, thank you! It was a nice thing to wake up to in the morning. =) (I am so wierd)
Well, I guess it keeps us from getting egotistical? XD Or, well, it keeps MY head down on earth where it belongs, at least!

Anytime! I'm happy that my otp has at least one really good writer! =) (And you write Matsumoto/Gin too, which is my Bleach love, so you know, you are just full of win and awesome)

It's such a trainwreck. A pretty, angsty, mindfucky trainwreck, from start to finish.
Yep, that's what makes it fun for me too.
