Bitching post.

This will contain little substance, all much bitching, and will probably annoy some people.  If you want to defriend me because of it, fine.  Goodbye, nice knowin’ ya.

And so I begin.

  • People, stop bringing up how much of an asshole Sam is being.  Yes, he’s harsh, but HE HAS NO FUCKING SOUL.  More than that, he’s being practical.  He’s not sugar- ( Read more... )

It's good to vent! But I don't agree with you. I have always been an equal opportunity person when it comes to Sam and Dean. This season and other seasons, Sam has always wanted to do what Sam wants to do. This season is another case. Sam is going to do what he thinks is right, regardless of what Dean wants, feels, thinks. They both have their faults but Sam has always been "Oh poor me" and Dean has always looked out for his brother whether it's out of duty or family. Dean has been dragged through the mud this season partly because of Sam. So yea, I think Samless FOR ONCE may have a valid, demon free reason to not want his soul back and act the way he acts but I do pity Dean having to witness his "brother" in the state Sam is in.

I respect your opinion, but I have to say I don't agree with you either. Sam has wanted things, but most of the time, he's deferred to Dean. More often than not (even in S4, excluding the demon blood), he proposes opposition, but then backs down. If Dean's dragged through the mud, it's of primarily his own fault. Sam hasn't done anything to drag Dean through the mud; it's Dean's reactions to Sam.

I'm not saying your opinion is wrong (I think it would defeat the purpose of "opinion" to say such a thing), but I do disagree with it.

*hugs* Looks like it will indeed.

I know, right? It's not like I like hating on Dean. I just miss how he used to not just whine and whine, but rather said "Fuck it all" and channeled his emotions into something productive. He's so blinkered now, and I'm not fond of it.

I...have nothing to add to that. WORD.

PREACH IT GURL.

I was all for Sam getting his soul back, but as the episodes passed, It became more and more obvious that OMG he's been in hell this entire time. It would damage ANYONE. But that being in the back of my mind, I was ready to go full on and jump off that cliff with my decision. SAMMY. NEEDS. HIS. SOUL. TO. BE. SAMMY. But now that both angels and demons have expressed worry about it, how long it's been, what CONDITION it's in... I've been laying on the edge of that cliff with just my arm hanging off. It's the toughest decision probably in the history of evers. I mean, I love snarky Sam and all, but it just isn't the Sam I ended up loving and my decision to be a Sam Girl. I want him back, but I can see why that would be a fucking BAD IDEA.

WORST SPLIT OF MY FEELINGS EVER. ;O; This show knows how to split me in half.

I swear, this show THRIVES on splitting its fans in half. This decision of get-Sam's-soul-back-or-not is like Sophie's fuckin' choice. I myself keep ping pong-ing back and forth. On the one hand, I don't want Sam to suffer...but on the other hand, I don't want Sam to suffer. Either way, he's screwed. And yet I can't stop watching. AHHH.

duuuuude, i swear, i am thinking more and more like you in regards to Dean, before S5, i would probably have defended him, S5 i would have been like, ehhh i agree with you to an extent, now im like HELL YES YOU ARE SO RIGHT.

Not only is it annoying as hell, and to be frank, Dean not being able to handle some harsh words is ridiculous

so much truth, it's like everyone has to tread on eggshells around him, hell Cas has to apologise EVERY time he doesn't do something Dean says within 0.5 seconds, and it is SO frustrating! Dean's always called Sam on his crap, he's always let Sam know when he's screwed up and made him apologise constantly but when Dean screws up or does something wrong? they pretend it never happened. when Dean is rude to someone it's "hilarious" but when Sam is it's "insensitive ( ... )

You're awesome. I have to say I have been blessedly spared a lot of this negativity towards Sam, but I think that is because i tend to stay away from Samhating people. I love this story arc for him, and I totally agree with him not wanting his soul back.
