YAY!!!!

I absolutely friggin' loved this! The tension, the declarations of love, the whole shebang.

I really did find this Anti-Remus Ted a very interesting take on which of the parents would be less receptive of Remus. It was actually pretty refreshing to see Ted as the voice of dissent. It makes sense that Andromeda would have known Remus, met him. Very nice way to make the "Meet the Parents" fic fresh and different from what is out there.

On to part five! Great job so far! :D

Thanks! Glad it worked. I wanted a twist on the 'meet the parents'

I've said it before, as a woman, Andromeda understands where her daughter is here: in love with a man that the world won't accept.

Ted is just being an overprotective father. Well, sort of.

Enjoy the rest =)

This is a nice take on the awkward meet-the-parents scenario. I really like your Ted and Andi and their relationship, and I always enjoy when it is Ted who is more disapproving and Andi is more supportive.

I also like seeing Andi as true Black, with the high spirit and dominating personality that runs in that family.

And the "love" revelation was very sweet. All in all a very enjoyable story. :-)

Thanks for reading, glad you're enjoying =)

I too, obiviously, am a fan of Overprotective!Ted. And, with her being disowned, you know that Andi was made of that strand of almost Gryffindor courage that runs through the Black family, along with Sirius and their uncle, and the others that were disowned for being 'abnormal'.

The "love" revelation...*sigh*

Enjoy the rest of the series.

Nice take on the "meeting the parents" scene, especially with the different, Ted-being-difficult approach. :)

Thanks for reading =)

I like Ted being the more difficult of the two. He's being an overprotective (with good reason) father while Andi understands how Tonks feels, having been there herself.

They're back again in Part 7 and Part 10.

Think this is my favourite part so far; it's nice seeing Ted being far harder to pacify than Andromeda for a change, and the reason for it, of being an worried, slightly over-protective Dad, rang very true. Also good to see Tonks having none of it from either of them in her own home, and lovely you made this the first time, in effect, that Remus and Tonks said the L word to each other. And in front of witnesses, too, which must mean a great deal to both of them.

Also liked the hint that Andromeda is showing signs already of being a devoted Remus fan girl. She obviously had a rebellious, courageous streak to run off with Ted herself, so it makes a lot of sense she would understand. And possibly see the attraction, too... ;)

Andromeda the fan girl...I LOVE it! I think that there is a certain spirit that in people that others are drawn to. Obiviously the Lupin spirit is attracted to the Black sprit and vice versa. And Andromeda is of that ilk that denouced the crazy ways of her family.

Over protective dads you just have got to love. He doens't care that Tonks is a fully-trained Auror. To his she's just his little girl. Remus' "furry little problem" is just another "excuse" that he can use to protect her. He'd be the same for any other man. I know mine was *eyeroll*

I finally stood up to my parents in my own home too. It was very liberating. My mother treats me like an adult now ;)

Thanks for reading, glad you're enjoying. Part 8 is giving me a spot of trouble. Stupid noble Remus doesn't want to deal with the angst he created. *sigh*
