How excessively Dumbledorian, if I can invent such an appalling corruption as a descriptor!

I have a great fondness for those stories that happen between 'tick' and 'tock' and this ranks highly upon that short list. Most inventive and very definitely amusing! Ron's 'bloody double triple hell' has to be among the funniest swear I've come across since 'Get Splinched'. I felt for Remus, pressing the button. ;-) :lol:

And of course, you write Remus and Tonks very well; their reactions, fears and abiding trust/love/affection. Wonderful.

Sorry for taking a while to reply to this; I was trying to read and review everyone else's, and suddenly realised I'd forgotten to say thank you for my own!

And 'thank you' indeed; it's great to hear you enjoyed it as there was so much going on in RL it turned into a race against time to get it done at all. That's probably my excuse for some of the madder moments, as well. I'm sort of hoping Ron says something like that in the last book, and it would be even better if it was for the same reason, lol.

Really glad you liked and were amused by this. :)

Oh wow, I loved that...poor Remus, pressing the button and it just goes on and on with the mortification...hehe.
And "bloody double triple hell!" ... well, that's my new expletive of choice!

It was such a mad rush to get it done in time, I was having a few nightmares if anyone would like it at all, so it's great to hear you enjoyed it. And I'm particularly pleased you think the characterisations worked, as Ron is one of my favourite characters, too, and I do enjoy writing him and Dumbledore.

This is great! And so funny! It's such a little tidbit, but I love Tonks confessing to messing up the flat to annoy Remus on purpose. So very Tonks.

All of this is great, there are too many places to pick out just a few good parts.

I never thought I was going to get it finished in time, and bits seem to scream "Rushed!" at me, so I can't tell you how nice it is to hear you enjoyed it. I'm really glad you liked the line about Tonks messing up the flat to get under Remus' skin as I just thought it was her, too. And him to ignore it in return, lol.
