Nothing sadder than a party that no one turns up too! But did turn out well for them anyway! Particularly liked Snape letting his guard down for just a second! Thanks for posting!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes I'm a sucker for any time Snape lets his guard down :) And I thought that little moment echoed how he's not so different than Remus in some ways. Thanks again!

Oh, I felt as bad as Tonks when no one else showed up. But I love how Remus was still genuinely happy, and even more so when Tonks arrived :D

I love how you describe everything Tonks is feeling..and it all seems like exactly how she would.
I especially like the descriptions of the two perceptions..although the second is definitely the one I like best :) And the two of them kissing is so sweet :) (especially the part about him always being there to catch her)

..and I like how even Snape lets his guard down here :) (especially the line about the "chink in his armour")

Yes it must have been so awkward for her, I'm glad you felt that and that you enjoyed the two different perceptions - it's what I was going for! And yes, Remus is a sweet feller :) And as I mentioned in another response, I'm a sucker for Snape letting his guard down, so I'm glad you enjoyed that. The chink in the armour line was one of my favourites. :) Thank you so much for your lovely detailed review! I really appreciated and enjoyed reading it!

Three cheers for Remus and Sirius, Marauders! I really like the idea of Sirius going all out to give Remus a splendid party for his birthday. And I share Tonks's outrage that none of the other guests could make it -- but good on Remus and Sirius for deciding to have a lovely time anyway.

And this does lead to a perfect opportunity for a first kiss.

I like the ending very much, too -- the way that Tonks's appreciation for Remus's situation has made her feel more compassionate toward Snape as well.

Yes I love Remus and Sirius Marauders! I'm glad you liked it, I'd hope they would behave like that in that situation! Yes, that's what I was going for at the end and I'm glad that came across. Thank you for your detailed review, I really appreciate it!
