I think what really makes this piece is your completely understated style. The subject is one that could so easily be melodramatic in the wrong hands, with lots of unnecessary angst and overwriting. But you've captured this so beautifully. The angst level is just right for a couple that has lived together and matured. Remus is frustrated by transformation, but not down on himself. He's learned to separate the man from the werewolf, and that's exactly the place I imagine Remus having come to before they decide to start a family.

Really love how you've depicted him through this, as the proud husband and father, wanting to support Tonks, feeling for the pain she's got to endure, but accepting it as a part of birth, and even embracing it because he knows what's at the end, and he himself is so joyfully anticipating the outcome. He's such a strong support, and I love how Tonks is attuned to that and stays calm.

Their love is so evident throughout.

Very well done. :)

Lovely! I was worried with the angst and pregnancy, so I was very happy to see a happy ending.

Her love and vivacity took so much space at centre stage that it couldn’t help but be pushed to the edge.
I adored this line. This is so perfect for them. Exactly what Tonks wants to do and what Remus will finally allow.

You did a wonderful job with the prompts.

Great job! :)

OK, I have to tell you this. This is so funny, I'm sorry--but throughout the whole thing I was envious of Tonks (as I tend to be with any mother who gets to carry a baby full-term) because I didn't even get a third trimester with my daughter--My premature delivery last year was over 2,000 miles from home on a business trip, with her dad half across the country--and since it was a crash c-section, I didn't get to see her myself for 13 hours after, which was followed by three months of hope and horror... but here's the kicker: Eva is my daughter's middle name. Go figure! I just had to share that, sorry.

As far as the story itself goes(lol), it was very well-written and emotional. I had expected Tonks to go into labor while Remus was transforming--sort of a parallel or something--but you made for a very happy, warm ending. And I'm glad you brought Molly into the picture! I'm glad you had an angst with happy results! :D
