Oh my, this is so beautiful. I really love post-war fic, and seeing the effect the war had on all these brave souls, and it's so heartbreaking to see poor Tonks dealing with guilt and terror after nearly orphaning Teddy. (Much more interesting, IMO, than reading about orphaned Teddy!) I love how Remus has really become her rock, just as they are his -- that line about the world worshiping a mother and son is incredibly rich. The leaf ceremony brought me to tears, especially Draco standing nearby. So well done, m'dear! You really can write anything!

I thought this was lovely. The idea of the leaves, particularly, is just gorgeous.

Sweetly sad, I think is the way I'd describe this fic. Great job. :)

Your story was recced on crack_broom and I took a chance on it. It's just lovely. I'm not a particular Remus/Tonks fan, especially with the character assassination from the final book, but this was so nicely balanced with a gen-fic feel to it, I thoroughly enjoyed its poignancy.
