Usually your stories make me laugh. Out loud, even. But this one has made me a little teary-eyed. It is just beautiful. The tree, and the leaves, are a fantastic idea; I adore all the different things Remus thinks about his wife, the war hero, and that she is afraid of leaving Teddy; the Christmas Eve imagery is gorgeous; and that is one of the best closing lines ever. Also: Draco. And Harry.

LOL, the tree is very similar to a memorial one at a local synagogue, but I won't tell anyone I stole it if you don't. ;)
So glad you like Draco (he's so sneaky!) and Harry. I wasn't sure how they would turn out, lol. Thank you for reading, and for your review. :D

"This is a woman with the ferocity of a legion of demons, whom, the first night they slept together, he had attempted to wake with a kiss and found himself pinned to the floor with her knee on his throat and a wand in his face before her eyes were even open, and he loves her more than words could ever convey." I loved that part. The visual in my head is very funny. Nice job!!

I love all the thoughts Remus has about Tonks, all the different facets of her that he loves. I especially liked this bit:
the first night they slept together, he had attempted to wake with a kiss and found himself pinned to the floor with her knee on his throat and a wand in his face before her eyes were even open
That's my girl!
I loved the tribute tree idea and the silver leaves with the names on. I love that Tonks gave Regulus' leaf to Draco, says so much about her compassion. I liked that you had George up to mischief, with his new partner in crime ;), and I like to think the cheer came from him. (Other than Remus & Tonks, it was the loss of Fred that killed me about DH, I ached for George.)
Oh and the idea that Ted always sang Over the Rainbow to her even when she was grown-up is just a lovely idea. Such a dad thing to do! I love that song anyway and now I'll think of Tonks when I hear it!

Oh, I agree! That was awful. George shouldn't be alone, it's just wrong. :(
Thank you for reading, and thanks for your review. :)

...and his wife (the war-hero) leans her forehead against his shoulder and laughs madly before bursting into tears.
I literally d'awwed. The song was such a sweet, Remus-y, prefect thing to do.
