Oh, this is so sweet. I like the way you've managed to make it sweet, but you haven't taken away from the Remus and Tonks we all knew and loved through the series - it's a very different scenario for them, but you pulled it off really well.

Very much liked this! I like the idea of the letters, the pseudo grownupishness that is Teddy and the excitement of Anna that only comes from a 5 year old, and you kept the spirit of R/T alive throughout.

I particularly liked this line "As many times as he'd appeared in that doorway, she still hadn't quite gotten used to having a husband at all." as it seemed a very future Tonks thing to say.

Great job!

Thank you! I adore Teddy and I know I was the same way at that age, trying to be a grownup but still very much a kid. And you've gotta love five year-olds at Christmas!

Thank you so much!

=D I can't imagine Tonks any other way! She'd be bossing the people in the nursing home around if I had my way. With pink hair and her neon coloured walker, too.

Wonderful work! I agree with all the comments above, so I'll be brief :D The letters were fabulous, especially the kids' crossed out words. And the end, of course, was perfect, although I was expecting a comment along the lines of "So are you going to make it worth my while?" Anyhow, I also liked the relationship between Harry and Tonks, :D and the characterizations of the children. Congratulations on a lovely fic!

Thank you! The comments about Harry were some of the most fun to write. And I ADORED writing the kids' letters, it's always fun to try and grasp the voice of the little ones. I'm glad you enjoyed!

What a treat this is! You drew me in right from the start, with Tonks being in a strop -- I have to admit, the idea of Harry being her boss is too funny! It's nice to see them, twelve years later, still being just like Remus and Tonks, from the way she has a bit of a fit to the way he mellows her out with the tea and sweets and notes from the kids. I loved Remus' note, especially this bit: Nor was the one after that, though by then you were my wife and I was your idiot. I snorted with laughter at that!

Great fic!

YAY I'm so glad it had a good hook--that seems to be my biggest problem in writing, admittedly.

And honestly, after the events of DH, you know he DID kind of think he was an idiot! Probably went back on hands and knees. Sigh, boys. :D

And I don't think I'll ever get over my love for your icon, or rather the picture itself.
