I love AU fic, and this was a very special one! I really enjoyed your Tonks, she was absolutely spot on with her "I love you too, silly git" and impish smile! The letters were sweet too, I really liked Teddy's-he sounds like a perfect combination of his parents! Remus was also, obviously, lovely, and for some reason I thought "you were my wife and I was your idiot" and "I will always love you" were especially endearing. Aww...

I don't usually delve into AU, but I'm glad I did for these two. I think the greatest thing about your review for me was that you think Teddy's such a good blend of his parents-I really get hurt seeing him written as just like one or the other, mostly because I love them both so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for commenting!

Yeah for AU. I loved Tonks getting emotional over not getting to spend Christmas eve with her kids! If she worked at my office she just would have whined about how it didn't really matter if people with out kids have to work holidays! Interesting having Harry be her boss, I know that would be more Canon, but I totally think Tonks should be head Auror before Harry!

Oh, I definitely agree! But he's The Chosen One! You know the DMLE would snap him up as Head Auror in an instant.

Aww, how could Tonks not appreciate Remus for bringing her tea and having their kids write letters to make up for her lost Christmas Eve? Remus's own letter is sweet, of course. And I love the way Teddy couldn't decide how to sign his, hee.

He's too manly for 'love', see? But it's MUM! So of course, he did. =D Thanks!!

I loved this, it was very sweet! The letters from the kids made me teary and then Remus'...oh wow...he's so romantic, just as he should be *sigh* As others have said, I loved the line:
you were my wife and I was your idiot
Just about sums them up : )

Great job!

This was such an enjoyable look at Lupin life - and exactly as it should be.:D I like how they've both settled into their roles and are content with them, at least until that Harry person mucks things up again. And I enjoyed the humour throughout (all the peppermint essence being so good for the sinuses, lol), and the humour and romance in Remus' letter.

Excellent take on the prompt! And, yes, Harry could learn a thing or two from Remus, not least on R/T observation... ;)
