I want to go read the rest of this series right now!
I do like Tonks and her knitting, it makes the whole story just bittersweet enough, in a very nice way.
"I'm afraid I haven't much choice, as I find myself faced with incontrovertible evidence every twenty-nine days."
That is quite possibly the most Moony-ish thing I have ever read.

I really love this look into the beginning of Remus's time with the werewolves. You write him the way I've always imagined him - his humanity, his restraint, his love for Tonks. I truly enjoyed this!

And I think you're right that what Remus really wants most right now is a big hug from Tonks -- but he's a long way from owning up to that. ;)

I'm glad you liked the part about the knitting and what it shows about how these two feel about each other. It's also good to hear that you liked the pack scenes, since I was a little nervous about working with OCs.
(These days I'm working on a DH installment of the series that I hope to finish in the next week or two...)

I absolutely love this line. It made me LOL and love Tonks just a little bit more at the same time. It's so her that she would be so determined to complete a project like that, especially when it's a present for Remus, and I love how the muffler comes back at the end, when Remus takes it with him and finds comfort from it, as I think he absolutely would. I'm glad you like Tonks here, too, knitting a scarf via 90% determination and only 10% ability. I just hated to send Remus off alone without any sort of reminder that there are people (or one person in particular) caring about him back home.
