Oh my God, this is fantastic. And for the first time I'm seeing the Remus who lives in my head... which rocks many socks because half the time I end up thinking that he's much too young or odd-looking in art... so... wow. Brilliant. :)
I'm so glad I was able to capture your Remus here (Tonks might have something to say about it, tho'). He always comes out different in every piece I do but usually there's only one of him so this piece was more difficult to do in that aspect as there's three of him. Four, if you count the wolf. I do like to make him attractive and without scars...or facial hair! Tonks likes him that way too.
I like the whole feel of this(being a massive graphic novel fan and all...). The black and white is lovely although I really would like to see it in color also. It didn't come off as sloppy at all, for the record. And its also really hot... Always a plus. :)
I'm glad a graphic novel fan such as yourself, could see what I was trying to do. It's a sadly under appreciated genre, as far as the art goes. I am definitely going to revisit this piece and see what adding color does to it. Thanks for your kind review.
This is wonderful. I love the way you've captured the moon and the light it casts over Remus!wolf, who is beautifully drawn, as are the folds on Tonks' cloak, which you always do so well. As for nekkid!Remus, well, I can barely take my eyes of his arm and hipbone, and all of him, really.
Fantastic stuff, and it's great to see something a little different from you. :)
Thanks! I fear I may be slowly sliding down into NC 17 territory with my art, but I'm sure I won't hear too many protests from my fellow Remus fan girls!
I love having the opportunity to try different styles. Although, it was hard for me to let this one go without spending endless hours making it a clean and sharp graphic.
