Will someone please tell me why all my favorite childhood memories are available for sale but only at incredibly high prices I would never be able to afford? I mean besides to tempt me mercilessly.

GHOSTWRITER guys. Come ON. But... 385 dollars? Freaking ouch. Ghostwriter was awesome enough as it is, but if that's not enough to convince you, ( Read more... )

WTF $385. That's way worse than I paid for Jem.

I'm totally going to watch that vid on YouTube. I didn't watch Ghost Writer much, though. I think I saw two episodes ever :x

And I don't know what Square One is :( *cries*

The quality is really bad... I want the DVDs so much. I would never pay or expect anyone to pay like 400 dollars for them though. That's just ridiculous. It's priced for teachers who get to expense it on the school budget. I could totally see myself becoming an elementary school teacher just for this reason now.

Square One was this awesome show with math-related skits. Like math game shows or math songs or random math animations. But almost every episoded ended with one part of a MathNet segment, where these two detectives would go around solving cases using math. Each story had like four parts. AMAZING.

The Case of the Willing Parrot was this dude who hid the key to his safe in one of the bricks of his house, only they didn't know which brick. And then they went outside and found that some of the bricks were colored. They realized after his pet parrot randomly recited the Fibonacci sequence that the bricks were in that pattern and that the key was in the brick of the next number in the sequence.

School budgets have 400 dollars for television? They could randomly get Ghost Writer? Classes should just consist of watching Ghost Writer episodes, and then going home and doing nothing.

haha that's awesome! I want to see it.

Well, maybe not so much anymore what with the current state of educational policy. *cough* But like, I could see a teacher buying some random case if it ties into the curriculum. Like, "okay kids let's learn about the INTERNET!! With JULIA STILES!" Or at least I would.

Okay maybe not with Ghostwriter, but they definitely would have a case with Square One. I mean, honestly, the math I learned in that show was helpful in my 11th grade pre-Calculus class. Or something like Bill Nye. Which we continued to watch into high school.

I once owned a Ghostwriter "Choose Your Own Adventure" book. And I think I only saw the show, like, once. Heh.

Dude, $2000 for Bill Nye wtf? Srsly, just rip off any elementary or middle school.

...whoops, I've been watching too much Prison Break. (Just watched, like, 20 episodes of it in about a day. Yup. Which means I'm ALL CAUGHT UP, thank god. Though now I have no more new pretty to look at, what. Though they did finally kill the one chick who kinda annoyed me off and that made me giggle inappropriately. Heh. Not that everything in life doesn't make me do that.)

YOU'RE LIKE THE ONLY PERSON ON MY FLIST SPECIAL ENOUGH FOR ME TO ACTUALLY EVEN SO MUCH AS *ATTEMPT* TO READ THEIR ENTRIES, OH DON'T YOU FEEL SPECIAL. 'Cause you should. ^__^

I owned one of those books too. But I LOVED that show. I wanted to be one of them. :(

I should totally ask Scott's step-mom to order them for me and then they could mysteriously disappear from her school. :D

Oh, and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-GVG1YLllw.

And also, HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW SPN PROMO PICS? Well, probably not, is my guess. (Neither have I.) But I have seen this one now, and GUHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Yeah, that's all that I can think of to add at this juncture. I'll probably go to sleep now.

OMG ONE OF MY SNAKES YAWNED REALLY WIDELY EARLIER AND IT WAS QUITE POSSIBLY THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN LIKE TOTALLY FOR SURE.

Wow. Poor Batman. You know, from all the random scans I've read... I really like Zatanna's powers. She can do like, ANYTHING.

Ahaha, the most amazing Zatanna comic I read was this one #1 issue of her own book from sometime in the 90s or something, I think. It was written by Greg Morrison and was only like 50 cents or a dollar, which is why I purchased it in the first place. But yeah, she was at a Spellcasters Anonymous meeting. Ahahahahaha. It won.

When I read Identity Crisis and she not only stopped BATMAN with ease, but wiped his mind? Yeah, I was amazed.

Make sure you watch both halves. I think I actually liked the penguin one better, even though ...yeah. ^_____^

That scares me. A lot. The penguins were much better though. They should have had one of them come on in the Batman one be like The Penguin.

Yess, hahaha. That's what I thought at first when I started watching, 'cause I saw the Batman picture (it was embedded with a preview or whatever) but then there were penguins and I was all ...what, will it transition because of like, The Penguin? But then no. DUDE, I'VE BEEN SAYING "LIKE" A LOT LATELY WHEN I TYPE. UHHHHHHH.
