(OOC: In case you can't tell, I am not a patient person, so Hayden doesn't get to be dead long. *Needs something to do before she starts climbing the walls.* And to make it somewhat fair, when possessed and hitting the red tape, Hayden will experience pain because the ghost would. However, that will probably just set him off worse.)

However, that did not mean she had to abandon hope completely. Raising the ocarina to her lips, she begins to play the song of healing that Link taught her. While to song does not carry the same magical abilities as when played on the Ocarina of Time, it is all she can think of to do, as she silently weeps.]

[For a few seconds, the song seems to pacify whatever puppeteer is yanking Hayden's strings, but then something, most likely a certain ghost with no preservation instinct, gets too close and sets him off again. Dumb ghost.]
Quit screaming in my head! SHUT UP! I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO IT!
[And we go through Hayden's complex strings to the one guilt that the ghosts can use to play him like a harp. the death of his friends at his own hands is such a wonderful way to send Hayden rampaging about.]

[The song continues to play, the occasional sob breaking up the tune.]

[The song is punctuated erratically by silence on Hayden's part, possibly the ghost within him trying to track Saria by the sound, and howls of fury when a ghost gets too close to try it's luck, and the occasional howl of something that if Hayden was aware and in control he'd never notice when the ghost brings them into contact with the red tape on some of the doors. Pain. For the first time, Hayden can actually say he FEELS pain, and he'll probably be wishing he didn't when he gets back in control.]

Get out! Get the fuck out of my head! I'm tired of you holding that over me like a god damned bomb! GET OUT! LEAVE ME ALONE!
[His voice rises to an almost hysterical howl, trailing off into whimpers, then back to a howl of fury as something gets too close and gets attacked. Lord, one has to love Hayden's screwed up little psyche at times like this. Not.]

[Someone's talking quietly, unaware that the communicator is on. Someone's also holding a meat cleaver, and pushing up heavy furniture over her door.]
If it ain't one trauma, it's another...

[Fortunately for her, she's in her apartment. Hayden is having trouble remembering what doorknobs do, so it more likely to be dangerous out in the halls, or if the door isn't secured enough. Though that would probably be the most toxic and dangerous meat pie she ever served anyone if she tried.]
Just shut up and stop it. Shut up, I'm tired of hearing that same damned phrase!
[And if she turned her communicator off, she probably wouldn't have to listen to Hayden's howling either.]

[A sharp gasp of shock.]
This thing's on?
[A mumbled word, that might very well be 'bugger', and then she picks it up with a sigh.]
What phrase?

Same god damned phrase as always. I know, okay! I know what you think, and damn it, fine you're right!
[His voice goes soft, almost bitter, before the howls of fury start up again.]
I know I murdered them...
[And Hayden's mind goes off into the dark corners of possession again, carving lines down the walls, across the panicking ghosts, into doors, anything to stop the relentless voice in his head with that one, damnable phrase. 'You murdered them!' Oh, how Hayden hates that phrase.]
