What kind of terrible magic could have caused this? I've never seen such frightening creatures except in those stories...

The dead are meant to stay dead, not return and be able to interact with the living realm, even as ghosts. They don't belong on this plane of existence.

Remaining in the living realm after death is nothing but a cursed fate.

[Though the darkness of the video makes it difficult to see, a pale face with red eyes can be vaguely made out if you're looking hard enough. Static crackles once or twice over the speakers, and the girl holding the communicator sighs softly.]
