The Flaming Elvis himself, Pat Patriot will be here at work, along with (in theory) Steve Grogan and Steve Nelson for lunch and some photo stuff. Apparently we are an Official Sponsor of the New England Patriots.

The real important thing is that I may get to a pic taken with my childhood version of Superman, Steve Grogan.

( I wax nostalgic about New England's Superman. )

Because I was in a ferschluggin' meeting before hand, I missed the photo op part, but I did get to shake Grogan's hand and got a photo autographed. He gets extra points for spelling my name right.

He may be an 'old man' now, but QBs dont seem to lose their grip as they age.

Going to see if I have a proper framr at home, and hang it in the studio. After I show my Dad, of course.

Grogan was the man, back when quaterbacks were not protected like they are now. As you mentioned, he played a game once wearing a neck brace.

I did meet him once. I was working for the Wal-Mart in Walpole at the time and he came in and bought a digital camera. (I also sold a boom box to Terry Glenn, but that is another story for another day.)
