On Monday, Owen turned 6 months old. Crazy. It's been so fun to watch him grow up and learn new things. While he still can't sit up unsupported or roll from his back to his belly, he's ohsoclose. Yep, halfway through my driving restriction. I wish I could say I feel as positive about it as I have in the past. Some days I have a harder time coping than others- I'm having a few of those right now. I think it all goes together- the stay at home mom thing plus driving restriction. I don't think I mentioned it here, but when I was approved for my STD through to July 1st, I was told at that time, my claim would to the LTD dept. I thought, well, no way I'm getting LTD so we'll just go without pay from July 1st until I can drive again and find a job (which would be about three months, if I started work right away). The past couple weeks have been good with Rob and his new shift. He's able to get home usually before 4am, with one 'night' getting home at 7am! That balances out with the night he didn't get any calls. Yep, more changes at the Ochs household. Rob has switched to nights. For those that don't know, Rob does mobile x-ray. He goes to nursing homes, juvenile detention centers, mental hospitals, prisons and some home patients. Essentially, people who can't get to a hospital or doctor's office for xrays.
