Doing "Magick" Differently

Grab-and-slap from who other but C-East. (choronzon333)

A: Personal Information

* Is your wardrobe dominated by clothing in fetching combinations of black, red, and purple?

Yeah, but CHORONZON's colours are yellow-orange and black...and I've not nearly enough good yellow and black outfits right now.

* Do you wear a pentagram? (inverted, obviously) ( Read more... )

Heh.

Actually, it was fun to read and feels like you were sitting across a table from me being interviewed by someone else. I sat, smoked, listened while drinking a cup of coffee, and the person asking the questions didn't always know what to make of your answers. Whenever this happened I would chuckle softly to myself, which seemed to start to annoy the questioner after a few times.

In the end, I walked away to get on with other things, but I left feeling like I knew ya' a bit better. And once again, I find myself wondering at the overlap that seems to occur between your outlook and mine.

Does it all trace back to 1992 when your partner at the time was interviewed for Virus 23?

Nah, the world's way bigger and stranger than that.

Grrrr. YOU can pull yourself away from the net. What's your secret? i need to do that very badly right now, but the problem is I'm doing an enormous sound-collage and all the downloadables are...on the NET. So I come to the net to download sounds. While they're downloading I open up other tabs. Next thing you know VSHOOM! An hour is gone whizzing away like a Boing jetmissile flying into a large five sided military establishment ( ... )

That issue of Virus 23 was where I first encountered IAO Core. (Issue $) In fact, I have my copy of it in front of me. I have found a couple of pages on the web that seem to be memorials to the project.

CHORONZON on the loose! S/He's been very kind, and here we go.

To say the least...I've been riding current practically all day, tying up loose ends (there's always this little thing or that that needs fixing, but that's minor. The things done. 48% of Casting Dispersions is uploaded and that's i think the last segment of Aftermath (totally not chronological) and Deek will attach the files in the "Thaumaturge" folder and make them into a "Thaumaturge". Then I'll start shunting up the stuff you have not heard yet. I will keep copies and CD back ups so dun' worry if those strain your disk resources, just let me know how to deliver The Product. I suppose shoving this all onto a CD and mailing it to ya would probably be a good idea. Did you get that msg about the disk space thing? I want to set you up with some hardware so's you can work when you have both halves of a double CD sitting around getting things done to them, I'd imagine your scratch-space runs out fast.

That was really interesting, now I know more about you than I ever thought I would (not necessarily from the questions, but your replies to them instead).

I love how sarky you are.

Thank you, sometimes I'm a little too snarky for my own good. That, and a tad bit obsessive.

One would think. from reading this journal, that I had no interests other than my daemon and its/my (self-important and egotistic) noise. I actually do have other interests... they're just sort of undersurfaced at this juncture of time.

I saw a survey similar to that on a website that is no longer active, I believe it was choronzon.com. I think things like that are funny since I am the most nonstereotypical mage there is. I am very professional, extremely well dressed as well as well spoken. I think mine and your interpretations of choronzon are quite different though but it is all good. If we all went around believing the same things we wouldn't be magi.

Yes, that is where he got it from; the site is in limbo, the girl who runs it is sort of like my doppleganger in England, with a lot of the same interests and tendencies as myself, and I only wish she'd deign to communicate. She's fallen into the poppyfield, a place I am very familiar with but no longer inhabit...So many things I want to ask her. Maybe she finds it weird how much like her I seem to be...some people find that pretty freaky. She's more, how would I put it, more into blood than I am. I'm not all that physical in general.

a few things today converged to made me think of you. i used to have you on my friends list a year or two ago when i used a different username. anyway, there was this artist's website you linked to a long while ago. he made graphics/paintings of mostly asian girls who were all tied up and bloodied, some of them nurses, some of them having cocks forced into their mouths. sound familiar? i can't find that website for the life of me.

Was it that thing with the dead Bambis and stuff, the museum exhibit that one of the other people on my list complained about? If that was the site you are looking for I could comb through my old archives and look for it.

I'm sitting here coming close to giving my monitor a massive spray of coffee just looking at your icon. That must be getting some serious applause. Looks exactly like me after working on a track for four hours and then having Windows crash and munch most of it. Or when one of my programs that I can't be arsed to buy phones home and shuts down. Yes, I do have a fit and spazz when they won't let me steal their programs. And it looks something like that. Maybe a little less sanguinary.

i don't know if that would be the website, but every time i think of trying to look for it again, i do get visions of me wandering around a warehouse with dead deers laying everywhere. so, perhaps. it might be that or in the same entry or something. i remember looking at that around the same time. i'd be very grateful if you could find it.

haha, yeah, i love this icon. i can't stop staring at it. i stole it from some lj person. crap, i hope you aren't one of those anti stealing lj icons people.

Not even. I'm one of those anti-livejournal-icons-looking-like-the-same-fifteen-or-so-fucking-anime-faces people. Your icon is not one of the same-fifteen-or-so-fucking-anime-faces type, so you're just fine. I'll go and try to dig up that link, golly that was a couple of forevers ago, have I really had this damn thing half a decade? Mein Gott.

Hello, glad you made it. OK Cupid is...well, let's just say I spent way too much time there that one day. That stupid survey they make you take is SO long. Egads. What brings you to my neck o' the forest?
