Ok, I finally finished HP7 last night...I meant to read a chapter or two and wound up reading the whole damn book.

My conclusion? I loved it. I realize this makes me uncool, or whatever - but I didn't have any real issues with the book. I liked the cliches, I liked the outcome, I liked what she did with all the characters, I cried at the deaths

I'm halfway through and I love it so much! I need to reread 6, but I'm thinking of just rereading the whole series since I don't remember the first books very well.

Why would you loving it make you uncool? I think that makes you supercool! :)

Most people I've been reading on my f-list seem to have found it ok, not great. Some actively disliked it. I think lots of people were expecting more, maybe? Dunno. The ONLY thing I would have liked (as I mentioned) was more in the epilogue, but otherwise, a stellar read.
