Questions for CORE members

Dec 17, 2009 13:34

Hi everyone. In a couple of months, I'll be leaving for Japan for a year, and I really (DESPERATELY) want to join CORE while I'm there this time. Would anyone in CORE be willing to give me some information about it? ( Please save me :) )

Haha, no problem; we CORE hopefuls must stick together. And not to be a creeper, but I clicked on your profile, and your ガラ layout is BEAUTIFUL. Could I ask what photoshoot are the pictures from, if you remember?

You don't need a Japanese bank account. You can buy money orders to send to them at either the post office or the combini.

Nope, you don't need a bank account, just a valid Japanese address and a post office near you. Merry does everything through postal money order (郵ちょ銀行振込み)

Thanks for the info; exactly what I wanted to hear :D I absolutely can't wait to get over there and join...especially for ガラ's birthday live.

I'm also in Japan for a year now. Although (this sounds stupid) my Japanese is currently not a very high level. Can someone help me understand the Core basis?
I mean, I get the basic idea of it, but is it just the fan club or do you really get stuff sent to you a lot?

I'm not actually in CORE, but my best friend in Japan used to be, and yes, they do send you lots of stuff. He gave me almost all of his old fan club things, and some of it is pretty cool. My favorites are these two books that メリー did with Fool's Mate, packed with in-depth interviews and pictures. But yeah, you do get stuff. Although in my opinion, the fan club only lives alone would be worth joining. If you do, maybe I'll see you around :)
