I made vegan cupcakes last night. I'm usually leery of vegan baked goods, but you really can't tell with these. The only fake food was the milk (soy or rice, I used cashew). No egg substitute, no fake butter.

I picked up a copy of the Dalbys' The Shakespeare Cookbook the other week and was surprised to see jducoeur, msmemory, and myself in the acknowledgements.
Huh -- neat. I'll have to check it out sometime. Nice to see that people are actually using that transcription; I'd almost forgotten about it.
