Well, with all these conventions happening - is there any interest in a meet up in Toronto, Canada?

Just checking interest levels...

Or does anyone know if there's going to be some kind of slash-a-thon in Canada this year?

I'm in Buffalo, easy enough to cross the border. And I've always wanted an excuse to visit Toronto.

Ottawa's slash group meets the second Sunday of every month, with between 6-15 people each time. We're panfandom, but lots of us are Merlin fans (an increasing number at each meet up, it seems), with vidders and writers and archivists. If you're ever out this way, visit ottawa_slashers for info on where we'll be, and then come on by!

YES! That's exactly how I felt when I discovered it last summer. It's been going strong for about a year and a half now. We meet every month for brunch, then in-between we often get together for Torchwood marathons or movies. Of course, the bus strike's making that a lot harder. :( But it's a great bunch of people and I'm looking forward to meeting you next month!

i live in kitchener during the weekdays and weekends in Hamilton...i could (depending on my schedule) go to toronto for a meet up. although i am fairly new to the fandom
