Wow. That was... so brilliant that I don't have the words to describe just how brilliant it was! The way you handled Arthur's problems, how he finally forced himself to take some measure of control of his life, and get the help he really needed, was amazing!

I especially love the epilogue, and how things aren't perfect -- Arthur and Uther are going to need a fair bit more time to work things out (Uther is clearly still in denial) -- but rather, they're realistic. No life is perfect, but if you work toward it, you can make it a good one, and will be able to take the bad with the good.

This was blunt, raw, and amazing. Most of all I liked how there was no instant fix-it, because realistically there couldn't have been.

Oh, heart palpitations. I feel like I've been drug through hell right along with Arthur and Merlin. Very beautiful and heart-wrenching and heart-warming. *pets you*
