oh hey! guess this is first question then. For the Excalibur episode, would it be best if I used the name the Black Knight or Tristan De Bois for whenever writing the wrath's dialogue?

I'd go with Black Knight as that's what he's first introduced as, and keep using it all the way through to avoid confusion (it just doesn't seem like a good idea to switch it mid-transcript).

Hello!

So I've been following the ideal format sample you guys had for the transcript. I was just wondering how you wanted me to go about describing a scene where it's all physical action and no dialogue. Is there a specific format you want me to follow or anything? Thanks. :)

That's a very good question and something I had failed to consider! For now go with

/ACTION
Description.

if I think of a better way to put it I'll correct it during the format check before the transcripts go live.

I've done that but should the description be in present or past tense?

Personally I'm leaning towards present tense but whichever you use(d) is fine as long as your use within the transcript is consistent.

question 1 -
If a character is speaking several lines but something has changed in the action, should I still put it all under one name or use the same name several times.

i.e.
GAIUS
I don't know what you mean. Merlin, stop that and come over here.

or

GAIUS
I don't know what you mean.

GAIUS
Merlin, stop that and come over here.

question 2
If the person's name changes (Cedric to Sigan), should I change it when he changes?

question 1: Put it all under one name.

question 2: Hm, this is a bit different from van_x_tango's issue. I think here it would be best to use "SIGAN (CEDRIC)" once Sigan takes over. Since it's same body, different driver.

But i suppose that depends on how long the pause between each sentence is and '...'s do give a certain tone of voice that you might not want so I'm probably not much help here, but is that fine if it's '...'?

It's alright to skip the pause indicators. Just continue right with the next sentence.

When transcribing the dragon's lines, should I refer to him as The Great Dragon or as Kilgarrah?

I'm going to decide on one name and make sure it's used in all the transcripts when I do the last check aka Stage III beta, before the transcripts go live. Right now I'm leaning towards using THE DRAGON so if you want to use that, that's fine, too.

For disembodied voices, such as Merlin hearing Mordred's or the Dragon's voices inside his head, is it okay to italicise those dialogues?
