Um, hi. I hope I’m not interrupting or anything, but I’ve taken a look around, and I’m pretty sure I’m not in New York anymore. I mean, I could be wrong, but I don’t think there’s anything in the city that looks like what I’m looking at right now.

Okay, so where are we, then? I don't think I've seen anything like this before.

It's called Meridian. [shrug.] I'd never heard of it before, either.

Wow, okay, so I'm somewhere none of us have ever heard of, and I have no idea how I got here. I'm guessing you don't either.

[Souji shakes his head with a slight frown.]

I'm sorry ... there's no electricity here. None of the telephones seem to work.

Oh, I see. That's okay, though.

[She looks just a little disappointed.]

[Castle isn't sure of what he's seeing at first. After that weird nightmare the other night...

He blinks, rubs his eyes, and looks again. Yup, she's still standing there.]

[Alexis widens her eyes, surprised to see her dad there.]

Dad? What are you doing here?

[In an instant, Castle has pretty much run up to his daughter and scooped her into a tight hug. He lets out a shaky breath, hardly daring to believe it- he hasn't been in Meridian for long, but it already feels like it's been too long.]

I could ask you the same thing- and truthfully, I wish I had an answer. Oh, my baby...

[There is so much hugging going on right now. Alexis is practically clinging to her dad.]

I don't know anything about what I'm doing here, except that I just showed up!

[She's really happy to see him, but right now, she just looks upset.]

Dad, when can we go home?

[She'll calm down eventually, but for now she's going to be a little emotional.]

[Terezi always manages to be...somewhere. So she can make an unsettling appearance with her big shark grin on full display.]

Uh, it's something you can talk to people with. I wanted to call my dad, but I guess that's not so important now.
