Is this thing on…?
Um, hi. I hope I’m not interrupting or anything, but I’ve taken a look around, and I’m pretty sure I’m not in New York anymore. I mean, I could be wrong, but I don’t think there’s anything in the city that looks like what I’m looking at right now.
[She stops there, and takes a long look around her, as if to confirm her suspicion that this is not, in fact, the city she calls home.
Then she looks back up and this time, she looks almost amused.]
I’m sure if my dad were here right now, he’d have a lot of crazy theories about this, but… well, I don’t have any ideas. So if you don’t mind, if there’s even anyone out there who can hear me, I’d really like to know where I am and how I can get back home.
Oh, um, does anyone have a cell phone? I can’t find mine, which is weird, because I know I had it right here. I need to call someone. It’s really important.
