that's good...i had to look that up: Daedalusian...mediocrity damns the sun...sure...nice photo, btw...saw it before, but even appreciate the love in your husbands eyes better now...i found myself feeling (something?) like that when my partner's 10 year old neice hugged me a few nights ago after a family gathering...such innocence

hmm, I may need to reword that. what I intended was the star as a lofty guide, singular vision, dream; so the Daedalsian star is excellence that escapes one, vain hopes, things believed possible but in truth an illusion... The sun could be the same in a sense, but that meaning to me seems more like happiness, glory, fulfillment, something actually attainable unlike the stars that are so far away and entwined in mysteries and destinies.
ah well. just thoughts that had to come out the way they did that day.
