America, I am disappoint.

I am not, however, sorry to see the crazyassed political ads gone from the random US affiliates I get in my cable package. Guys, how do you even deal with having to vote for every damn little thing?! Agh. Crazy process is crazy.

In other news, I had a weird dream ( cut for boring )

my kingdom for an attention span, my life is so exciting, rambly, idek, no value

Disappointed doesn't even cover it. Would you adopt me?

hahahah. We manage with judicious dvr/tivo, fast-forward buttons and episodes gained from alternative sources.

Er, at least that's how I managed (hulu actually lost me a couple of times due to their over-saturation of political ads)

You know, those days where you just can't brain properly and are constantly wandering around trying to remember what it was you were supposed to be doing

Yes. Yes, it was.

Yeah, mostly I just watched Canadian channels, but only the randomass Washington state timeshift has Dr. Phil on at 5! (Don't judge my weaksauce TV choices.)

Dude, WHAT WAS IT today? Everyone had the brain fog, I swear.

WOW, that is quite the dream! And now I'm positive that Mike Holmes remodels ducks. Or duck ponds. *nods*

Dude, it was weird. There were, like, earthworks around the house? And there was something about my great-grandpa owning a hotel (untrue; he owned the furniture store and funeral parlour) and, like, a really big cemetery across the road. And non-relatives looking for something to drink, which was a no go because the last time my grandma was near alcohol was when she had a single Tom Collins at a Keg in the 80s.

FTR, my grandparents live in a large 1960s bungalow in the tiniest town in the flattest part of the province. There are no ducks. And Mike's catchment area doesn't extend to the Cornfield, AFAIK.

I MISS YOU. How is crazy America? You moved there and it got Republicanier. Watch out for that.

Did you get the apartment stuff sorted? did you start work yet? What what what?

You! *hugs*

Strange dreams, er, not-FTW? *ponders*

Yes, my country really disappoints me right now. It's like the majority of citizens refuse to see how they are being used like cheap whores by the very plutocracy that is ruining their lives. WTF, people? My family has been "American" for centuries, but I'm seriously looking at how I can escape because I don't see it getting better. *sad*

Also, sympathies for the whole "school, RL, stress" thing. Oh, yeah.

Me! :D

Well, it wasn't a BAD dream. Just nonsensical.

Dude, IDEK. The problem with politics is that there is so very rarely a good choice, just a less-bad one. Though middle-America's judgment even on that score is questionable (and the same can be said for Canada, but MAN am I ever glad we're just a fundamentally more liberal-leaning society.)

Plus the fact that the republic system you have set up can nly handle two viable parties, which blows. I mean, the NDP is never going to get off the opposition side of Parliament on their own, but bless their little socialist hearts they can still organise a swing vote now and then. On the other hand, we have separatists in our federal government. IDEK.

Real life has eaten me, but not in a horrible way! If the stress was Bad Stress(tm) trust me--I'd be on LJ a LOT more trying to avoid my problems. :P
