America, I am disappoint.
I am not, however, sorry to see the crazyassed political ads gone from the random US affiliates I get in my cable package. Guys, how do you even deal with having to vote for every damn little thing?! Agh. Crazy process is crazy.
In other news, I had a weird dream last night that Mike Holmes had redone everything in my grandma's house, which was hell of old and apparently located in London, Ontario, neither of which are true facts IRL. She was living on her own for some reason, and having a fight with some dude about noisy ducks in a pond near the house. Also somehow I went back in time to inform her that her house was about to be renovated, because I had already seen it on TV. Then it was Thanksgiving dinner.
Brain, I don't even know.
It's been one of those DAYS, flist. You know, those days where you just can't brain properly and are constantly wandering around trying to remember what it was you were supposed to be doing. Good thing I can do this FPLC gradient-pouring thing in my sleep now.
I do not even believe that it is NOVEMBER. WTH?!? Snow soon. Not sure if want.
