I think I know the context for most of your icons, but I am a little confused about the Callum-as-Satan one. Oh, and/or you could tell me about this Emily Haines person? Not that I can't google her for myself, but it's nice to get the fan perspective.

Ha, okay, I thought it was a little early for your birthday. But I was too lazy to check. Which reminds me of a quote:

"Oh please, you practically invented lazy. People should have to call you and ask for the rights to lazy before they use it."

That's from Shit My Dad Says, which I JUST discovered this evening. It has changed my life. Hilarious. Also, it sounds like the guy I'm currently dating could have contributed to it, because man, my beau is a curmudgeon. (You never met him, I think - he was there for my birthday thing, but otherwise no one else has met him and I could have easily made him up).

Seriously, dude, NO RUSH. I am currently trying to write much better stories. :-)

A science icon! It is a section of a chart on the different kinds of water ice. Did you know there are different kinds of water ice? At near-freezing temperatures you get hexagonal ice that makes pretty, stellar flakes, a little colder and you get nodules, then granules. At about -70C it becomes cubic ice. At -160m you start getting vitreous, or amorphous ice if you freeze it fast enough (liquid nitrogen is not good for this because of calefaction, but you can keep liquid ethane liquid with nitrogen, so problem solved!) which is where we do cryogenic work. :D?
