I'm in that terrible place where I am boooooooored, but also am lacking in any ambition or interest whatsoever. I don't want to do anything! But I'm so boooooooored.

Tried reading more of Treason's Harbour, but that's not keeping me still. Ordered pizza, attempted to start watching HCL since I'd never watched it yet on my big shiny TV. Ate the ( Read more... )

Japanese comedy shows (where people are set up) on youtube always do the trick for me when I'm like that! They're short - good for the attention span. They're low maintenance - only takes a click. They're hilarious - good for energy and to lift the mood. And they're hilarious. It gets mentioned twice because they're just that funny. Japan wins at prank shows.

I highly recommend the water bed one too!

::hugs!:: Do not worry, bb! There were weeks I didn't want to look at the damn thing, and I wrote it. I totally get it. :DDDD

Is it nice out? A walk with some tunes or a podfic or something, maybe?

...I have to go out partying with some girls I don't know, who are friends of Eric's friend's wife (who is sweet, admittedly), and all signs point to them being dingbats. I have a feeling this might be hilarious and drive me to drink more than is acceptable to deal with them. I could send you hilarious emails from my iPhone? :D?

Meehhhhhhh, Sionn! I'm so not feeling productive. *fails*

It's nice out I think. I did consider a walk or some such but mehhhhh. Also I'm developing a headache. >:(

Partying with randos, hm? Awkward. You should be partying with ME. But feel free to send snarky emails, yes. :D

I would totally love to be partying with you, Meres. And yes, randos who are nice but...not my style, methinks. Still, am friendly and do enjoy dancing, so there is that. :DD

It's okay! Just say, "I'm not going to do this tonight, I'll look at it tomorrow," and be okay with having a foryou!day. ::nods::

A nap, y? I looooooove naps :DD

I generally just take it as read that I need sleep if that happens. Maybe it's the same thing - try napping?

I hate getting in that place. I realise it's too late for now, but my two ways of getting out of it are either going for a walk or organising stuff - doing real life filing, electronic filing, shelving recently acquired books, that kind of thing. Apparently organising stuff soothes my soul.
