If you are wearing something promoting any of the candidates when you go to vote you will be asked to remove or cover it while you are in the polling place.

This can only hurt the GOP.  At the very least it will hopefully kill their stupid abstanence only program.

We have trial this week and in addition to supporting my own team I'm one of the leads coordinating all the paras/courtroom happenings on our side (7 law firms).  This means I have to be at the court from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM and I am in heels and on my feet the majority of the time.  After three days my feet are are really starting to feel it.   ( Read more... )

Some, but not all of the flags around my office have been flying at half-mast.  No one at work know why, does anyone out in LJ land? 

Bob and I joined a CSA and got our first box today.  I'm going to blog about our experience and my goal of buying the majority of our food from the farmer's market this summer.  If you are interested in reading about it:

Due to travel plans next weekend and the fact that we were in Cleveland for a wedding this weekend we had the top tier of our wedding cake today.  It wasn't wonderful, but it also wasn't horrible.  It's hard to believe that a week from tomorrow it will be a year.

He will be coming to the DAR on his new tour May 1 and 2nd.

Just gotta say that we both loved it.  The only whispering going back and forth between the two of us was a discussion on who had to be told to see the movie and how we were going to go about buying the soundtrack NOW - iTunes- great cast of unknowns and cameos by pretty big names.

Loved it.

So the wonderful husband stood in line yesterday morning to get us bracelets (which meant we wouldn't have to show up until 10:30-11:00 ish), meaning we got books 16 & 17 at our particular store (Clarendon B&N).  I'm glad he did, because I saw one person wearing number a yellow 719 (pre-registered) and one person wearing a blue 169 (just showed up ( Read more... )
