So, tonight I went to hear John Adams talk (thanks, Micaela!) and( apparently I have a lot to say about it, so I'm cutting here... )

-A herd of cows at a costume party (Manon)
-Mad Hatter hats (every scene, basically)
-A wall full of plates (La Traviata)
-Ads stacked on top of each other that say something along the lines of: The Metropolitan Opera: Drink and enjoy.
-Giant Chevrolet robots moving way above the ground
