Shrinking back a little, Marlene brushed her wet hair out of her eyes with the back of her wrist, eyes focusing on Namine. Some part of her is hesitant, scared, because she knows that strangers are bad, but--...but she's alone and lost and..and maybe this woman can help her...
Swallowing, Marlene wrings her hands togther a little and shifting her weight from foot to foot. "I'm...I'm Marlene..." she says quietly.

Instead, she leaned down, looking at her. "Don't be frightened. I'm friendly, really." She opened her bag, showing only a sketchpad and set of colored pencils. "No weapons, nothing..." Oh, she was so tiny, so cute.
Why was she here?
"Marlene? Are you...alright?" Namine asked softly. "You're not hurt, are you?" With concerned eyes, she looked the girl up and down. "No one's hurt you, have they?"

Standing up on her toes a little, Marlene peered into the bag curiously, still wringing her hands a bit, hair dripping into her eyes. She glanced up when Namine spoke again and nodded after a moment's hesitation.
"I-I'm okay," she murmured, shaking her head and lifting her gaze a little. "I'm not hurt, just...just lost..."
