[When] Doesn't matter. Um, afternoon, around fiveish?
[What] Marlene is just arriving and she can't find anyone she knows.
[Warnings] Uhm, none that I can really think of. Well. It's kind of short? It's been a while since I played Marlene, so it might take me a post or two to get in character (:.
"Papa!" Marlene woke to unfamiliar surroundings, cold and wet and alone. The last thing she could remember was falling asleep with Denzel at her bedside, holding her hand. Barret had been there too, along with Cloud, and plenty of other people she cared about.
But where was everyone now? Why weren't they here, why wasn't she in her bedroom? Why had she been left alone?
Frowning, Marlene looked up to the sky, squinting against the rain, and then pushed herself to her feet, staying close to the brick wall she'd been leaning against. She looked around, hoping to see someone familiar, someone who could take her back home, but the street was empty both ways. It was dead quiet as well, the only sound being the quiet patter of rain hitting concrete.
"Papa?" she called. "Tifa? Cloud? ...Anyone?"
Her only reply was the echo of her own voice.
